For these events a full NHRA membership is not required if your cars ET’s are slower than 10.00 in the quarter mile. The rules are rather simple for the event and will list them out below for you. Our gates open at 5pm and we start sending cars down track at 5:30pm. On a normal evening we will close the staging lanes down around the 8:30pm time frame. The fee to run your vehicle down the track is only $25 and you will pay at the front t…icket gate as you enter the track.
When you arrive at the track all you need to do is purchase a tech card for the night which is $25 and then proceed to the tech area where our officials will check your car over. Some of the items that will be checked are seat belts, condition of tires, all lug nuts in place, no cracks in windshield, radiator overflow container, return springs on throttle assembly if running carburetor, battery is secured correctly and if running slicks you MUST have a drive shaft loop installed correctly. A helmet is highly recommend regardless of ET of your vehicle. It must be Snell approved and can be an open face or full face helmet. It will not be required until your ET is quicker than 13.99. Also, long pants of some type will be needed as well. No shorts are allowed for drivers.
