It was a great day for racing with a small breeze and some nice
sunshine. We started the day off with the final run off’s for Motorcycle
team Indy and got that settled. We were down a little bit on car count with
Indy points finished. We had one first time winner and five repeats.
92 cars staged up for the first round of Super Pro with 15 five 0 bulbs
and 15 dead on runs that round. Jeff Toms .502 being the best and Glenn Yancey
dead on 4.670 on his 4.67 dial in being the best for the round. In round two
we had 8 five 0 bulbs and 9 dead on runs. Phil Spradlin had a .500 and Jeff
Toms ran a 6.160 on a 6.06 dial in for the best of the round. In round three
we had 4 five 0 bulbs and 7 dead on runs. Leon Bryan had a perfect .500 and
Phil Spradlin ran a 6.103 on a 6.10 dial in for the best of the round. In
round four we had 3 five 0 bulbs and 5 dead on runs. Nathan Baker and Matt
Phillips both had .504 lights and Jason Cook, Jack Duty and Jerry Dunkel all
ran dead on with a zero. In the quarterfinals Andrew J Barrett of Beavercreek,
Ohio in his 94 Lebaron red lighted giving the win to Jerry Dunkel of
Kettering, Ohio in his 69 Chevelle. Leon Bryan of Jamestown, Ohio in his 65
Corvette used a .507 light to beat former division three champion Bobby Biser
of Columbus, Ohio in his 78 Firebird. Jack Duty of Vandalia, Ohio in his Monza
got by Nathan Baker of Xenia, Ohio in his 89 Mustang. In the semi finals
Dunkel got the bye run and used a perfect .500. Duty had a .503 light but
Bryan won the double breakout race. In the final Bryan had a perfect .500
light and ran 5.917 on a 5.91 dial in to take the win his second of the
season.

64 cars staged up in the first round of Pro with Benny Terrell having a
perfect .500 light and Jason Neargarder running a 12.731 on a 12.73 dial in.
In round two Jason Hays had a .505 light and Scott Shepherd running a 10.007
on a 10.00 dial in. In round three Vince Moore ran an 11.843 on an 11.84 dial
in. In the quarterfinals Walt Shade Jr of Riverside, Ohio in his 68 Mustang
red lighted giving the win to Scoot Shepherd of Xenia, Ohio in his 66 Nova.
Jason Hays of Riverside, Ohio in his 80 Mustang red lighted giving the win to
Randy Smith of Washington Court House, Ohio in his 73 Venture. Rich Wilson of
Kettering, Ohio in his 83 S-10 red lighted giving the win to Bill Livesay of
Fairborn, Ohio in his 56 Chevy. Dave Cox of Washington Court House, Ohio in
his 72 Nova got the win over John Bosier of Sabina, Ohio in his 64 Dodge. In
the semi finals Shepherd had the better light and got the win over Livesay.
Smith run dead on his 10.55 dial in with an 10.554 to beat a breaking out Cox.
In the final Smith had the better light and both drivers ran dead on their
dial ins Smith run a 10.556 on a 10.55 and Shepherd ran a 10.004 on a 10.00.

31 cars staged up in round one of Sportsman with Aaron Wolf having a
.508 light for the best of the round. In the quarterfinals Joe Zimmer of
Dayton, Ohio in his 71 Camaro red lighted giving the win to Nathan Baker of
Xenia, Ohio in his 69 Mustang who ran dead on with a 13.232 on a 13.23 dial
in. Randy Campbell of Huber Heights in his 89 Corvette had the better light
but Dennis Young of Riverside, Ohio in his 71 Camaro got the win. Josh
Vanhorne of Orient, Ohio in his 85 Firebird red lighted giving the win to Carl
Thomas of Kettering, Ohio in his 65 Mustang. Walt Shade Jr of Riverside, Ohio
in his 73 Maverick had the better light and got the over Phil Borton of
Urbana, Ohio in his 79 Camaro who ran dead on with a 13.897 on a 13.89 dial
in. In the semi finals Young ran dead on 13.111 on a 13.11 dial in but Baker
had the better light and got the win. Shade Jr red lighted giving the win to
Thomas. In the final Thomas ran a 14.380 on a 14.38 dial in but Baker had a
.516 light and got his second win of the season.

26 bikes staged up for the first round this week with Danny Oiler Sr
having a .502 light and Perry Dog Sowers running a 9.006 on a 9.00 dial in
were the best of the round. In the quarterfinals Brad Shellhaas of
Springfield, Ohio on his 75 Kawasaki had the better light but Burt Exman of
Englewood, Ohio on his 83 Suzuki got the win. Paul Herald Jr of Springfield,
Ohio on his Kawasaki had the better light and got the win light over Larry
Sagraves of Springfield, Ohio on his 77 Kawasaki. Marshall Hutchinson of
Columbus, Ohio on his Kawasaki red lighted giving Scott Sheppeard of Tipp
City, Ohio on his 01 Honda the win. Dave Beavers of Urbana, Ohio on his 76
Kawasaki got the bye run. In the semi finals Exman had the better light and
ran an 8.498 on an 8.49 dial in to best Sheppeard. Herald Jr had the better
light and got the win light over Beavers. In the final Herald Jr had the
better light but Exman ran closer to his dial in to get his forth win of the
season.

23 Junior Dragster staged up for the first round with the best light of
the day by Michael Bloomfield having a perfect .500 and breaking out. In round
two Chris Nuss ran an 8.809 on an 8.80 dial in. In the quarterfinals Ryan
Jenks of Jamestown, Ohio in his Jegster had the better light and got the win
light over Erik Smith of New Carlisle, Ohio in his 96 BOS. Julie Duty of
Vandalia, Ohio red lighted giving the win to Tyler Vance of New Carlisle, Ohio
in his 97 BOS. Megan Hughes of Jamestown, Ohio in her 95 BOS red lighted
giving the win to Chris Nuss of North Hampton, Ohio in his 02 BOS. In the semi
finals Jenks got the bye run. Nuss had the better light and got the win over
Vance. In the final Jenks ran an 8.655 on an 8.65 dial in but Nuss had the
better light and got his second win of the season. Chris

In the semi finals of High School Michael Collier of Dayton in his
Camaro ran a 15.294 on a 15.29 dial in on the bye run. David Reedy of Xenia,
Ohio in his 82 Mustang had the better light and got the win over Rick
Osterfeld of Minster, Ohio in his 04 Impala. In the final Collier had the
better light and got his sixth win of the season over Reedy.
