            The third week of points competition was in full swing on Saturday. In Super Pro Quarters we saw Delbert Estridge face off with Christy Morgan-Back. Estride of Fredricktown, dialed a 5.16, to Christy’s 4.86, off the tree the better reaction time was for Estridge with a .512 Light, however Christy would receive the win light with a 4.891 run. Jason Ford and Billy Back paired up next to see who would pair up in Bye runner Jr Lockhart. As the two got to the line, Back dialed a 4.74 and Ford a 5.09.Bck had the advantage with a .511 light, and the win with a 4.747 run.

            In semi finals Billy Back would face Jr Lockhart, as Christy Morgan-Back received the Bye run. Lockhart would dial a5.26 to Billy’s 4.74. At the finish line, Lockhart got the win light, despite Billy’s .502 reaction time, Lockhart ran a5.262

            In the Finals, Jr Lockhart faced Christy Morgan-Back for the days winning spot! At the tree Christy’s dial read a 4.86. Jr, would dial his dragster down to 5.26. Lockhart had the starting line advantage, with a .505 reaction time. At the finish line we saw the win light for JR Lockhart, with a 5.271 run!

            In Pro Quarters, it was P356 facing Doug Caplinger, P356 dialed 11.33, and Caplinger was the same! At the tree for the heads up race, the reaction time advantage went to Caplinger, with a .543, and a win light after an 11.370 run. Tony Jack would face 338K for the next pair, as they were ready to set to the line, Jack would  dial an 11.84, to 338K’s 9.87, at the tree advantage went to 338K with a .516 light, Finish line would see 338K a winner, with a 9.898 run. Last pair for the Round would be Randy Smith and Mike Gill. Smith dialed a 10.47 to Gill’s 10.07. Gill would enjoy the advantage at the tree with a .528, and the win light with a 10.154 run.

            In the Semis, Gill and Caplinger paired up for the run with 338K as the Bye. Caplinger would dial an11.32 and Gill a 10.07. Tree advantage went to Gill with a .518 light, at the finish line Caplinger got er done  with an 11.338 for the win!

            Final Pro Round saw Caplinger face 338K for the win spot, 338k pulled a red light moving Caplinger to top spot for the day!

 

            In Pro Bike, Nathan Thatcher paired up with Dave Beavers, for the first run, Thatcher dialed a 9.49, and Beavers a 9.87. thatcher pulled red, moving Beavers to the next round! Up next was Sam Cotterman and 3154, Cotterman dialed n 11.77, to 3154’s 9.79. 3154 had the advantage with a .502 light, and would receive the win light with a 10.004 run. Roger Wilhelm and Burt Exman paired up for the run next, Exman dialed n 8.54 to Wilhelm’s 9.82. Wilhelm had the advantage, with a .544 and the win light with a 9.859 run. Russ Withem would face 357 in the next pair, Withem dialing a 10.12, to 357’s 8.98. 357 better of the tree this time, however broke out at the finish with a 8.952 run moving Withem to the next round. Thomas Toler had the bye run!

            Semis saw Beavers pair up with Thomas Toler, at the tree, Toler dialed a 10.03, to Beav’s 9.91. Beavers had the better light with a .521, also capturing the win light, with a 9.937 run. Russ Withem and 3154were up next, Withem dialed a 10.06 to 3154’s 9.79. Withem had the reaction time advantage with a .518 light, also a win light at the quarter mile, with a 10.122 run. Roger Wilhelm had the bye into the next round.

            In the semis Beavers had the bye run and Withem defeated Wilhelm for his entry into the finals.

            In the finals it was Beavers dialed a 9.90 to Withem’s 10.007. Withem saw a red light giving him the win and a special birthday present for his daughter Alyssa, who had excellent birthday cake!

            Sportsman quarters saw 3264 face Carl Tomas for the first pair. 3264 dialed a 13.33 to Thomas’ 14.17. Thomas was better of the line with a .537 light, but wasn’t able to hold off 3264’s 13.374 run for the win light. Nathan Baker and Dennis young paired up next. Baker would dial a 15.82 out of his truck, after his car had broken earlier, Young dialed a 12.23.  Baker’s .528 reaction time gave him the advantage and the win light with a 15.845 run. Lynn Quillen would then pair up with KK108, KK108 dialing a13.27, to Quillen’s 14.18. Kk108 had the better reaction with a .607, and took the win with a 13.528 run. Z317 had the Bye run that round.

In the Semis Nathan Baker would face Z317. Baker dialing a 15.82, to z317’s 13.88. Baker once again with a starting line advantage, this time a .580, took the win on a 15.844 run! 3264 faced KK108 to see who would race Baker in final round action. 3264’s dial read 13.36 and KK108’s 13.28. 3264 had the advantage with a .563, however KK108 pulled by with a 13.290 run for the win!

In the Final Kk108 pulled a red light giving Nathan Baker the win!

Junior Dragster quarters saw Jake Browder and Emily Kathe pair up. Kathe dialing a 7.97, and Browder a 7.93. Browder got the start off good with a .528 light and won with a 7.982 run. Matt Sprdalin and Payton Filson were up next, at the tree. Spradli dialed a 9.54 and Filson a 7.90, Reaction battle was in Filson’s favor with a .539 light and the win also on  a 7.945 run. Dylan Bair and Ben Brower were up next when Bair’s motor died, and was disqualified at the tree. Ryan Jenks had the bye run for the round.

In semi Finals, Jake rowder faced Payton Filson. Filson dialed a7.90, and Browder a 795. Problem with the machine for Browder gave Filson the win light. Ben Browder faced Ryan Jenks to see who would run Filson in the Finals. Browder dialed a 8.90 to Jenk’s 8.18. Browder got the advantage with a .517 light, and the win light at the finish line with a 8.944 run.

Finals were up to Ben Browder and Payton Filson. Browder with the advantage off the line with a .511 reaction, he would also see the win with a 8.951 run on an 8.90 dial! Browder also received Top Tree Award with an earlier pass.

High School saw Josh Toler and Scott Brunett pair up, Brunett dialed a17.94 to Tolers 19.01. Brunett went red, Toller moved on. Aaron Sprauer was up next to face Brian Hurst, Sprauer dialed a 16.42, to Hurst’s 17.20, at he tree Sprauer went red sending Hurst to face Toller.

Final Round saw Toller dial 18.71 to Hurst’s 17.24. Reaction battle was won by Toller with a .610 light and the 18.736, got him the breakout win over Hurt’s 17.185.
