Baker Wins Super Pro!!! In Super Pro quarters we first saw James hill Pair up with Racer 3678. Hill would red light moving 3678 to the next round. Up next was Darryl McConnaighey dialing a 6.41 to Nathan Bakers 6.38. As the pair left from the starting line it was Baker with the better reaction a .511. Take that put it with a 6.407 run and you get a win light. Matt Barrett and Matt Phillips would pair up next. Barrett dialed a 5.81and Phillips a 5.20. Phillips got off the line better but had Mechanical difficulties, and so Barrett would run on to the next round after a 5.851 run. Up for the last pair were Dean Karns Jr, and Tony McFall. Karns would dial a 5.03, and McFall a 5.96. As the pair went down the track, Karns would get the starting line advantage with a .527 light. After making the pass in 5.034 seconds, Dean Karns Jr. would move on to the next round.
In the Semis it was Nathan Baker to face Dean Karns Jr. to see who
would face Bye runner Matt Barrett. Baker would dial a 6.38 and Karns a
5.01. Baker had better tree management with a .519 light, along with a
6.386 run for the win!
In the finals it was Nathan Baker and matt Barrett. Baker dialed a
6.37 and Barrett a 5.78. Baker would cut a .511 light to start and run
6.387 for the win!
In the Pro quarters it was H22 to face Dave Cox. H22 dialed in a
10.38, and Cox an 11.59.H22 was better from the tree with a .538 light,
along with the 10.425 run for the win! The next Pair up was Mike Hurless
and A308. Hurless dialed in a 10.41, and A308 dialed 10.22. Hurless was on
the ball with a .504 light. That advantage was enough to get the win light
at the opposite end of the race! The last pair to the line for that round
was Michael Roberts, and Shawn Stacy would be last. Roberts dialed a
10.28, and Stacy an 11.11. Reaction time went to Michael Roberts, but
Stacy was able to hold on and make the pass, for the win!
In the semi finals rounds it was Hurless and H22. Hurless would
dial a 10.41 to H22’s 10.38. H22 was better off the line with a .516
light, along with a 10.381 run for the win! Shawn Stacy would get the bye
into the next round.
In the Finals Stacy would dial an 11.10 to H22’s 10.35. H22 Broke
out running under by .0051 giving Shawn Stacy the win in Pro!
Sportsman quarters saw Yolanda Spencer and Buy Back racer T22
stage. Yolanda was better off the line with a .568. T22 broke out and
Yolanda moved on. The next pair at the line was Paul A. Gibbs and Steve
Collier. Gibbs dialed a 14.10 and collier a 17.21. Collier was better off
of the tree with a .558. Gibbs was able to make the mid track pass for the
win with a 14.138 run. 3565 had the bye to the next round.
Semi finals saw Paul Gibbs get the bye into the finals, leaving
Yolanda Spencer and 3565 to race for the remaining spot. Spencer dialed a
16.69, and 3565 a 16.47. Yolanda was better at the tree with a .581,
however 3565 made the pass with a 16.518 for the win.
In the finals it was Paul Gibbs and 3565 on a Buy Back to see who
would take home the winners money. 3565 dialed a 16.50 to Gibbs’ 14.10.
Gibbs was better off of the starting line with a .527 bulb, which would
translate into a win with a 14.137 run.
Pro Bike Semi Finals saw bike 808 pair up with Joe Deck. 808 dialed
a 9.67, and Deck an 8.98. Deck had the better reaction time with a .515,
and would get the double breakout win with an 8.970 run. Scott Sheppeard
and Perry Sowers were the last pair to stage, to see who would face Joe
Deck. Sheppeard dialed a 9.88 to Sowers’ 9.12. Sowers had a .504 light
for the advantage and a run of 9.128 for the win.
In the finals Sowers pulled a red light, which would give Joe Deck
the win in Pro Bike!
In High School it was Brian Hurst staging next to Aaron Sprauer for
the first pair. Hurst dialed a 17.11 and Sprauer a 17.59. Hurst was better
off of the line with a .546 reaction that would translate into a win with
a 17.251 run. Jason Parriman would get the Bye run to face Hurst in the
Finals.
In the finals it was Parriman who went red and gave the win to
Brian Hurst!
Junior Dragster quarters saw Matt Spradlin pair up against Mikah
Miller. Spradlin dialed a 9.45 to Miller’s 12.98. Miller went red moving
Spradlin to the next round. Up next Jake Browder paired against Dylan
Bair. Browder dialed a 7.99 to Bair’s 9.30. Browder went red, and Bair
moved to the next round. The Next pair up was Birthday girl Lacy Emory to
face Taylor Manning. Emory dialed an 8.03, to Manning’s 10.37. Manning
had the better light with a .532 but Emory got er done with an 8.047 run
for the win. Kameron Greth got the bye run into the semis.
Lacy Emory and Kameron Greth staged up for the first pair of semis,
as the tree fell it would be Greth with the better reaction time, a .564,
however once again birthday girl Lacy Emory got the pass by running an
8.029 on an 8.00 dial for the win. Matt Spradlin and Dylan Bair would
stage next to see who would face Emory in the finals. Spradlin dialing a
9.47 to Bair’s 9.28. Spradlin was a little better off the line with a
.576 light, and that would be the advantage needed for the win after a
9.471 run.
In the finals it would be Lacy Emory for her second week in a row
to the final round, and Matt Spradlin. Emory dialed a 7.98 to Spradlin's
9.44. Spradlin was faster off of the tree, which would once again be
enough to secure victory with a 9.445 run.
