Saturday Drag racing action kicked off with over 160 cars posting to first round of eliminations. In the Sonic Drive In Super Pro division quarterfinals we would see Randy Ellars of Jeffersonville dialing a 5.81 to the 5.14 of Randy Stacy from New Carlisle. Ellars would be better at the tree with a .506 light but it would be Stacy with the round win on a 5.147 pass. Next would be Randy Smith of Washington Courthouse dialing a 6.46 to the 4.83 of Darren Campbell of Xenia. Campbell would cut a .503 light and would take the round win with a 4.848 pass. Next would be Charlie Wheatcraft of Jamestown dialing a 5.07 to the 4.95 of Terry Terrell from New Carlisle. Wheatcraft would cut a .501 light but it would be Terrell with the win light on a 5.004 pass. The last pair for the round would be Leon Bryan of Jamestown dialing a 5.79 to the 5.85 of Gray Ferguson form Medway. Ferguson would cut a .504 light with a 5.888 pass for the round win.

            In the semis it would be Terrell dialing a 4.96 to the 5.14 of Stacy. Terrell would go red moving Stacy to the finals. Next would be Ferguson dialing a 5.86 to the 4.83 of Campbell. Campbell would go red moving Ferguson to the finals.

            In the finals we would see Ferguson dial a 5.87 to the 5.16 of Stacy. Ferguson would go .498 red making Stacy the Sonic Drive In Super Pro Winner.

            In the Pro division we would see Brett Randall of Xenia dial a 5.81 to the 7.57 of rusty Thompson from Columbus. Randall would go red moving Thompson to the semis. Next would be Wayne Adams of Hamilton dialing a 6.46 to the 6.39 of Jerry Lee Jr. from Springfield. Adams would cut a .529, however it would be Lee moving to the semis with a 6.430 pass. Next would be Charles Picklesimer from New Carlisle dialing a 7.57 to the 6.99 of Rick Parson from Xenia. Parson would go red moving Picklesimer to the next round. Kevin Bishop of Cincinnati would have the bye.

            In the semis it would be Thompson dialing a 7.58 to the 6.80 of Bishop. Bishop would cut  a.527 light and would the winner with a 6.796 pass. Next would be Picklesimer dialing a 7.55 to the 6.41 of Lee. Picklesimer would cut  a .536 and would take the win with a 7.564 pass.

            In the finals it would be Picklesimer dialing a 7.55 to the 6.82 of Kevin Bishop. Bishop would cut a .562 light with a 6.805 for the double breakout win.

            In the Buckminn’s D&D Harley Davidson Pro Bike class it would be Scott Sheppeard of Springfield dialing a 9.18 to the 9.27 of Larry Hunter from Xenia. Hunter would leave early moving Sheppeard to the semis. Next would be Homer England of West Chester dialing a 9.64 to the 9.06 of Bill Camp from Xenia. Camp would cut a .516 light and would take the win with a 9.123 pass. Next would be Thad Neeld of St. Paris dialing a 9.32 to the 10.75 of Steve Withem Neeld would cut the better light with a .534 but it would be Withem with the win light on a 10.773 pass. Jeremy England of Wet Chester would have the bye.

            In the semis it would be Sheppeard dialing a 9.18 to the 9.06 of Camp. Camp would go red moving Sheppeard to the finals. Next would be Withem dialing a 10.75 to the 9.49 of England. Wtihem would cut a .532 light and would take the round win with a 10.775 on his way to his second final in a row.

            In the Finals it would be Sheppeard dialing a 9.18 to the 10.75 of Withem. Sheppeard would go red making Withem a back to back winner in the Buckminn’s D&D Harley Davidson Pro Bike Division.

            In the Sportsman quarterfinals it would be Doug Thompson of Columbus dialing a 13.32 to the 13.97 of Steven Collier from Dayton. Thompson would go red moving Collier to the semis. Next would be Steve Collier of Xenia dialing a 12.80 to the 13.08 of Paul Gibbs from Beavercreek. Collier would cut a .532 light but it would be Gibbs at the finish line with a 13.033 pass. Next would be Dave Bishop of Cincinnati dialing a 13.32 to the 12.00 of Rob Nixon. Bishop would go red moving Nixon closer to his second final straight.

            In the semis it would be Gibbs dialing a 13.04 to the 14.05 of Steven Collier. Collier would be better at the tree with a .564 light and would take the win with a 14.095 pass. Nixon would have the bye run into the finals.

            In the finals we would see Nixon dialing a 12.00 to the 14.05 of Collier. Nixon would be better at the tree with a .515 ligth and would take his second straight win with a 12.013 pass.

            In the Junior dragster division we would see Shayla Babb of Xenia dial a 7.90 to the 10.11 of Shelby Stacy from New Carlisle. Babb would cut the better light with a .524, but it would be Stacy on the double breakout win with a 10.074 pass. Next would be Hunter Hughes of Jamestown dialing 10.21 to the 8.94 of Taylor Cook from West Chester. Hughes would cut a .526 for the better light and would take the double breakout win with a 10.191 pass. Next would be Marissa Babb of Xenia dialing a 9.08 to the 8.94 of Garreth Sheppeard from Springfield. Babb would go red moving Sheppeard to the semis. Allison Neeld of St. Paris would have the bye run into the semis.

            In the semis it would be Neeld dialing a 12.10 to the 10.05 of Stacy. Stacy would cut the better light with a .539 and would take the round win with a 10.077 pass. Next would be Hughes dialing a 10.15 to the 8.90 of Sheppeard. Sheppeard would cut a .545 for the better light, but it would be Hughes on the breakout win with a 10.239 pass.

            In the finals it would be Hughes dialing a 10.19 to the 10.05 of Stacy. Hughes would go red making Shelby Stacy the third repeat winner on the day. Shelby posed with Family Member and Super Pro Winner Randy Stacy in victory lane.
