                Over 170 cars showed for first round eliminations, In the Sonic Drive in Super Pro quarterfinals it would be Ryan Burba of Beavercreek dialing a 4.87 to the 6.69 of Erica Dingus.  Burba would go red moving Dingus to the semis. Next would be Dwayne Gallogly of Cedarville dialing a 5.78 to the 4.79 of Michael Sturgill. Gallogly would leave early moving Sturgill to the semis. Next would be Matt Barrett of Beavercreek, dialing a 5.28 to the 5.39 of Ceslie Shellhaas of Springfield. Shellhaas would go red moving Barrett to the semis.

            In the semis it would be Sturgill dialing a 4.80 to the 6.66 of Dingus. Sturgill would be better at the tree with a .505, and would take the win light with a 4.826 pass. Barrett would have the bye run into the finals.

            In the finals it would be Sturgill dialing a 4.82 to the 5.27 of Barrett. Sturgill would go red giving the win and the Wally to Barrett.

 

            In the Pro quarterfinals it would be Doug Thompson of Columbus dialing an 8.67 to the 6.29 of Gwayne Honeycutt from Urbana. Thompson would cut a .500 light and would take the round win with an 8.719. Next would be Steve Collier of Xenia dialing a 6.10 to the 6.01 of Mark Griffith from New Carlisle. Griffith would go red moving Collier to the semis. The last pair for the round would be Nathan Baker of Xenia dialing a 6.22 to the 5.84 of Ben Browder. At the tree we would see Baker with the better light a .586, however it would be Browder on the breakout win with a 5.871 pass.

            In the semis it would be Collier dialing a 6.07 to the 8.67 of Thompson. Collier would get the better light with a .507 and would take the win with a 6.112 on his way to race for the Wally. Browder would have the bye run into the finals.

            In the finals it would be Collier dialing a 6.07 to the 5.84 of Browder. Collier once again would be better at the tree with a .529 light, and would get the win along with the Wally on a 6.143 pass.

 

            In the Sportsman class it would be Yolanda Spencer from Waynesville dialing a 16.62 to the 12.39 of Michael Thompson from Dayton. Yolanda would leave early moving Thompson to the semis. Next would be Sam Bunch of Centerville dialing a 12.01 to the 12.29 of Doug Caplinger from Xenia. Sam would go red moving Caplinger to the semis. Next would be David Jennings of Norwood dialing a 14.47 to the 16.37 of Jesse Sorrell from Riverside. Sorrell would have the better light with a .570, but it would be Jennings on the win light with a 14.525 pass. Doug Thompson would have the bye run into the semis.

            In the semis it would be Doug Thompson dialing a 13.41 to the 14.48 of Jennings. Thompson would be better at the tree with a .544 and would take the breakout win with a 13.459 pass. Next would be Michael Thompson dialing a 12.23 to the 12.29 of Caplinger. Doug would get the better light with a .511 and would take the win with a 12.403 pass.

            In the finals it would be the tale of the two Dougs. Thompson would dial a 13.42 to the 12.29 of Capliinger. Caplinger would be better at the tree with a .517, and would take the win with a 12.301 pass to earn himself the win and Wally.

            In the Buckminn’s D&D Harley Davidson Pro Bike Division quarterfinals it would be Larry Hunter of Xenia dialing a 9.40 to the 9.50 of Roger Wilhelm from Urbana. Hunter would get the better light with a  .506 and would take the win with a 9.461 pass. Sam Cotterman would get the bye run to the semis. Next up would be Steve Withem of Fairborn dialing a 10.83 to the 9.38 of Thad Neeld from St. Paris. Neeld would have the better reaction time with a .512 and would take the double breakout win with a  9.370 ride.

            In the semis it would be Cotterman dialing a 10.36 to the 9.38 of Neeld. Cotterman would cut a .520 for the starting line advantage, however it would be Neeld closer to the dial with a 9.691 for the round win. Hunter would have the bye run into the finals.

            Final round action would see Hunter dialing a 9.32 to the 9.39 of Neeld. Neeld would get the better reaction time with a .513, but it would be Hunter with the win light on a 9.342 ride.

 

In the Jr Dragster 8-9 Class semifinals we would see Shelby Stacy of New Carlisle dialing a 13.12 to the 13.08 of Emily Crum from Jamestown. Shelby would go red moving Emily to the finals. Byron Pitts would have the bye run.

            In the finals it would be Crum dialing a 13.14 to the 13.08 of Pitts. Pitts would have the better light with a .582, however the double breakout win would go to Emily Crum with a 13.133 pass.

            In the 10-12 Class quarterfinals it would be Marissa Babb dialing a 9.21 to the 8.90 of Kyle Beavers. Babb would get  a.575 for the better light but would breakout moving Kyle to the next round. Next would be Garreth Shapeard of Springfield dialing an 8.90 to the 10.37 of Hunter Hughes of Jamestown. Garreth would get the better reaction time with a .579, but it would be Hunter with the breakout win on a 10.377 pass. Next would be Allison Neeld from St. Paris dialing a 12.28 to the 8.93 of Paige Vance from New Carlisle. Allision would go red first moving Paige to the semis. Kay Crum had the bye run into the semis.

            In the semis it would be Crum dialing an 8.90 to the 8.92 of Vance. Vance would go red moving Crum to the finals. Next would be Hunter Hughes dialing a 10.35 to the 8.90 of Kyle Beavers. Beavers would cut a .507 light and would take the win with a 9.086 pass.

            In the finals it would be Crum and Beavers both dialed in at an 8.90 for a heads up race. Crum would go red making Kyle Beavers the event winner in the 10-12 class.

            In the 13-17 class quarterfinals we would see Mike Phillpot of Waynesville dial a 7.95 to th e8.04 of James Smith from Beavercreek. Smith would get the better light with a .543 and would take the win with a 8.073 pass. Next would be Megan Hughes of Jamestown dialing an 8.09 to the 7.97 of Mike Morris from Dayton. Morris would record the better reaction time with a .510 and would take the win with an 8.024. The last pair of the round would be Ben Browder of Fairborn dialing a 7.95 to the 7.93 of Michelle Morris from Dayton. Morris would go red moving Browder to the semis.

            In the semis it would be Smith dialing an 8.03 to the 7.96 of Morris. Morris would get the better reaction time with a .555 and would take the round win with a 7.981. Ben Browder would have the bye run into the finals.

            In the finals it would be Browder dialing a 7.92 to the 7.96 of Morris. Morris would go red and Browder would take the event win.

            In the Tee Creation High School Class we would see Ben Browder dial an 18.00 to the 20.07 of Mike Morris. Browder would get the better light with a .581 and would take the win with an 18.581. Walt Crum III had the bye run into the finals.

            In the finals we would see Browder dial an 18.00 to the 18.44 of Crum. Browder would go red making Crum the High School Class winner.
